JUL-SEP 98 Comshare® Intranet Developer As part of my MSc course I undertook a work placement at the IT consultants Comshare®, helping to expand and develop the English and European sections of the company's Intranet, and providing a user manual for future editors and contributors. The job necessitated my learning FrontPage and Outlook, and acquiring familiarity with HTML. The job also involved liaison with key members of staff, chiefly in the HR department, to identify and structure the information they required to be incorporated into the company Intranet. Presentations and teleconferencing formed a small but significant part of the work experience. |
