I appear as co-narrator in "America Over The Water", "A
Most Sunshiny Day" and "I'm A Romany Rai" - three shows
devised and presented by Shirley Collins. "America Over The Water"
was seen most recently at the American Museum in Bath in October 2008,
while "A Most Sunshiny Day" had its most recent performance
at Lewes in October 2008 as part of an Early Music Festival.
Shirley was awarded the MBE for Services to Music in the
2007 New Year's Honours List, and a Good Tradition Award by BBC Folk
on 2 in January 2008.
She is also President of the English Folk Dance and
Song Society.
I also appear as co-narrator (and singer) in "Down
the Lawson Track" - a show about the Australian Bush poet Henry
Lawson - with Martyn Wyndham-Read, Shirley Collins, Iris Bishop, Gary
Holder and Jackie Oates. Seen most recently at London's Purcell Room
on the South Bank in early December 2008.
